Bishop Omar Jahwar

Bishop Omar Jahwar has dedicated himself to saving lives — and violence-plagued cities around the country could use his services now more than ever.  Growing up in the church with his father as a pastor, Bishop Omar earned his Ministerial license at 13 years old.  On May 6, 2013 Bishop Omar was installed as Pastor of Faith Memorial Church by Bishop Larry Jefferson, Sr.

He has inspired and provided solutions around the country for businesses, educational institutions and school districts, nonprofit organizations, congregations, and communities.

Pastor-Elect Anita Jahwar is the wife of Bishop Omar Jahwar, mother of four, anointed-inspirational speaker, prayer warrior and mentor. She has a strong passion for helping and ministering to others to see them saved, delivered, set free, empowered and encouraged through the Word of God. She desires to usher God’s people into His presence and reveal a new experience with love, passion and joy found at His feet.

She began the Prayer Line for Faith Memorial now KWAR Legacy back in January 2011. Starting on Saturday’s for 30 minutes and then moving to daily at noon with Saturday as well. Then changing the prayer line to Tuesday and Thursday from 6-6:30 am. Now the prayer line is open Monday through Friday at 6am. She believes it’s not about her but more importantly about God’s people. “Each one reach one”.  Prayer can go where man can’t.

She was the co-founder of Models of Merit – Empowering Women and Redefining Beauty which begin September 2014. Models of merit served women with domestic violence issues. Pastor-Elect Anita also started Outside of these Walls for women outreach and motivation, partnered with several organizations to bring about change in local, state, and government level. Served on several committees in the schools, community, and in the church. She leads a life full of prayer, dedication and faithfulness. One of her favorite quotes is “To thou own self be true”.

Bishop Shiela Turnbo

Bishop Sheila Turnbo, born November 10, 1963, to Riley White Sr. and Minister Eddie B. White, is a native of Tyler, TX. She is number eight of eleven children. Bishop’s mother, Minister White, was the pillar of her faith as a founding member of Faith Mission Holy Church then under the leadership of Pastor Imogene Johnson; to date the largest church in Bullard, TX.

Bishop Turnbo became an ordained Minister in 2003. In 2010, she founded and pastored Walking by Faith Church. In 2011, after the passing of her mother she was inspired to change the name of her church to Legacy of Walking by Faith. She pastored her church for 10 years. On July 10, 2019, she was ordained as a Bishop and came under the Kingdom Covenant of Churches and Senior Pastor, Bishop Omar Jahwar. In November 2019, Legacy of Walking by Faith and Kingdom Worship and Restoration Church (KWAR) merged to form KWAR Legacy Church.

Bishop Turnbo is anointed with a ministry of deliverance and a gift of prophecy. Her goal in ministry is soul salvation.  On a more personal note, Bishop has been married to her husband Theodis Turnbo Jr. for 23 years.
Together, they have 7 children and 2 God children. She is a wife, she is a mother, and she is a grandmother. Of all the titles that she has her most treasured is that she is the daughter of the Most High King. To God be the glory for all the things that he has done.
